11.5.2. Removal and installation of a rear bumper

It will be required to you: all tools necessary for removal of back flaps (see. "Removal and installation of mudguards of wheels and flaps"), back facing of a luggage carrier (see. "Removal and installation of facings of a luggage carrier"), and also a face head "on 8", the screw-driver with a crosswise edge, a drill with a diameter of 5-6 mm and the electric drill, pincers for installation of rivets with detachable cores.
1. Remove back flaps on both sides of the car (see. "Removal and installation of mudguards of wheels and flaps").
2. Remove average …
3. … and both side parts of back facing of a luggage carrier (see. "Removal and installation of facings of a luggage carrier").
4. In arches of both back wheels turn out on one bolt of fastening of a bumper to back wings.
5. In the lower part of a bumper (at the left and on the right) turn out clamps of two percussion caps of fastening of a bumper to the power absorbing element …
6. … also take percussion caps.
7. In a doorway of a back drill cores of four rivets of fastening of a bumper to a body (on two from each party), take rivets from openings of a body and a bumper …

8. … also remove a bumper …
9. … disconnecting clamps on its top edge from holders of the side arms established on a body on each side.
10. If necessary drill cores of eight rivets of fastening of the power absorbing element to a body and remove an element.

Note
Rivets of fastening of the power absorbing element of a rear bumper are so located to a body. Rivets of fastening of the power absorbing element are similar to rivets of fastening of a rear bumper.

11. Similarly drill cores of three rivets of fastening of each of side arms of a rear bumper and remove arms.
12. Establish details as it should be, the return to removal.
