12.8. Balancing of wheels

Balancing of a wheel is carried out for compensation of uneven distribution of weight. At the movement the imbalance has an effect on a type of vibration which is transferred to a steering wheel. Vibration of a steering wheel from an imbalance of wheels is shown in the certain range of speeds and vanishes at decrease or increase in speed. The imbalance of wheels can lead to damages of hinges of a forward suspension bracket, steering and shock-absorbers. Surely it is necessary to balance wheels through 20 000 km of a run of the car or after any repair of tires.
