At detection of a leak of engine oil or cooling liquid in block head junctions with the block of cylinders remove a head and replace its laying. The leak can arise also owing to a block head buckling because of an overheat.

It will be required to you: keys of TORX T25 and T55, the screw-driver with a flat edge, passatizh and bokoreza.

1. Reduce pressure in a power supply system (see. "Pressure decrease in an engine power supply system").

2. Remove the rechargeable battery (see. "Removal and installation of the rechargeable battery").

3. Remove the shelf of the rechargeable battery (see. "Removal and installation of the rechargeable battery").

4. Merge liquid from the engine cooling system (see. "Replacement of cooling liquid").

5. Separate flanges of the additional muffler and a katkollektor (see. "Replacement of laying of a katkollektor").

6. Remove the airbringing sleeve (see. "Removal and installation of the air filter").	7. Remove the pipeline of system of ventilation of a case (see. "Cleaning of system of ventilation of a case").

8. Squeeze clamps and disconnect a block of a plait of wires from the ignition coil.

9. Turn out all spark plugs (see. "Replacement and service of spark plugs").

10. Uncover a head of the block of cylinders (see. "Replacement of laying of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders").

11. Take off a belt of the drive of the gas-distributing mechanism (see. "Replacement of a belt of the drive of the gas-distributing mechanism").

12. Turn out three bolts of fastening of a back cover of a belt of the drive of the gas-distributing mechanism (fig. 5.3) and remove it.

13. Remove camshafts (see. "Replacement of camshafts").

14. Disconnect the fuel supply pipeline from a fuel stage, having squeezed clamps of the connecting coupling.	15. Take the pipeline of supply of fuel from holders on a stage and take the pipeline aside.

16. Remove a stage of electric sockets of nozzles (see. "Removal and installation of a fuel stage").

17. Turn out the screw of fastening of an arm of the index of level of oil.	18. Disconnect hoses of the vacuum amplifier of brakes and the valve of a purge of an adsorber from an inlet pipe.

19. Having squeezed passatizham collars and having shifted them on hoses, disconnect a radiator hose from the taking-away branch pipe of a water shirt …	20. … and hose of a heater of salon.

21. Shift a clamp up …	22. … also disconnect a block of a plait of wires from a cover of throttle knot.

23. Having squeezed clamps, disconnect from nozzles of a block of plaits of wires.	24. Having pressed a clamp, disconnect a block of a plait of wires from the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid.

25. Remove an inlet pipe (see. "Replacement of laying of an inlet pipe").

26. Weaken an inhaling of ten bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders in the order shown in fig. 5.4 then finally turn out bolts of fastening of a head and take out them together with washers.

Prevention Bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders can be turned out only on the cold engine.

27. Remove a head of the block of cylinders assembled with a katkollektor.

Good advice It is more convenient to remove a head of the block of cylinders with the assistant as it is quite heavy.

28. Remove a katkollektor from a block head (see. "Replacement of laying of a katkollektor").

29. Clear privalochny surfaces of a head and the block.

30. Check a block head for lack of a buckling. For this purpose, having put a ruler an edge on a head surface at first in the middle lengthways, then across and on diagonals, measure by the probe a gap between the plane of a head and a ruler. Replace a head of the block of cylinders if the gap is more than 0,1 mm.

31. Establish a head of the block of cylinders as it should be, the return to removal, taking into account the following:

– remove oil or the cooling liquid which got there at removal of a head from carving openings of bolts of fastening of a head of the block of cylinders;

– surely establish new laying of a head of the block, its repeated use is not allowed;

– oil bolts engine;

– tighten bolts on the cold engine in the order shown in fig. 5.5 in three stages:

The 1st stage — tighten the moment 15,0 N · m (1,5 kgfs · l);

The 2nd stage — tighten the moment 30,0 N · m (3,0 kgfs · l);

— tighten the 3rd stage on a corner 90 °.

32. Establish all removed details and knots as it should be, the return to removal. After installation of camshafts and a belt of the drive of the gas-distributing mechanism check and if necessary adjust gaps in the drive of valves (see. "Adjustment of gaps in the drive of valves").

33. Adjust a tension of a belt of the drive of the gas-distributing mechanism (see. "Replacement of a belt of the drive of the gas-distributing mechanism").
